You are an international freshman if you:
· are not a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or
· are not graduating from a Texas high school after three years in residence in Texas (please review Senate Bill 1528)
The deadline to submit your ApplyTexas application is 11:59 p.m. CST on December 1. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, we have extended the deadline for required credentials to 5:00 pm CST on December 5. Required credentials include: application fee/fee waiver, essays, high school transcript and test scores. This is not a post marked date. All documents must be received by the Office of Admissions or one of our Regional Prospective Student Centers by this date.

Among many projects in Mexico facilitated by the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES), the Texas A&M Global Manufacturing and Distribution Research Initiative in the Industrial Distribution Program has established a Research Consortium to develop solutions for the Global Supply Chain throughout the Mexico – Central America – Texas region.

Checks or money orders (U.S. dollars) should be made payable to Texas A&M University. Checks or money orders are accepted provided they display an agency bank in the United States and have magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) routing numbers at the bottom.
FEE WAIVER: International applicants are not eligible for an application fee waiver.
4. OFFICIAL HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT
o Submit an official high school or senior secondary transcript according to the education system of your country (generally the last three to four years).
o If enrolled in the final year of secondary education at the time of application, an official transcript showing completed and in-progress coursework must be received by the deadline.
o If you have attended multiple schools (including US accredited schools) then a transcript is required from each institution.
o If you transferred your foreign credits to a US school then only the US transcript is needed.
o If your educational system includes O-levels and A-levels then the completed O-level results and projected A-level results must be received by the deadline.
o If graduated from high school an official transcript is required; it must include senior courses, a graduation plan and date of graduation.
To be considered official:
Transcript(s) must have an original signature of a school official (Registrar, Principal, Controller of Examinations or the Ministry of Education) or an original school seal.
All foreign transcripts must include an English translation prepared by a recognized translation service and include all original seals and/or signatures.
PREFERRED > transcript can be uploaded in AIS (final high school transcripts may not be uploaded through AIS)
OTHER METHOD: mail
Faxed or e-mailed copies will not be accepted.
5. OFFICIAL SAT or ACT Scores (including Writing scores)
o Texas A&M SAT code is 6003 and ACT code is 4198.
o The highest composite or total score from a single test date will be considered for admission.

6. PROOF OF ENGLISH PROFICIENCY
Applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit proof of English proficiency, which is satisfied by one of the following:
o a minimum TOEFL score of: 550 for paper-based testing (p-BT) or 80 internet-based testing (i-BT)
o a minimum SAT Critical Reading (Verbal) score of 500
o a minimum ACT English score of 21
o a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 overall band
o completing all four years in a high school within the U.S.
o applicants who are citizens of the following countries will be exempt from the English proficiency requirement:
